MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MARYLAND SECTION NCNW- CHARTERED 1969
The Montgomery County, MD, Section of The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW) celebrates 51 years of advocating the national mission of NCNW to “lead, develop and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities.” As a community-based section, we aim to be a presence in the Montgomery County community and fill the gaps where needed. As a voluntary non-profit organization, we vow with the National Organization to “take urgent action around education, health, economic empowerment and public policy in an effort to build a stronger Black America.” If you have been seeking opportunities to make a positive difference in your community, the Montgomery County, MD Section is the organization for you.
