Dear National Council of Negro Women,
On behalf of Shepherd’s Table, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the consistent and generous support received from the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW).Your monthly donations of essential items have profoundly impacted the lives of those we serve. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the boxes of adult pull-ups, dozens of undergarments, and female hygiene items that cater to the diverse needs of our clients. Your donations have been a significant help to our clients. As you know, our primary goal for the Resource Center is to ensure that we can provide quality daily essential products to everyone who stops by our window. Your contributions have allowed us to support over 50-80 women with essential items, ranging from hygiene products to pullups and underwear, during our Clothing Closet and Resource Center hours. The positive effects of your support are immeasurable, and we are deeply grateful for the tangible difference it has made in the lives of the individuals we serve. Your commitment to the well-being of our community aligns seamlessly with our mission, and we are honored to have NCNW as a valued partner. None of this would be possible without supporters like you
Thank you for your donations!
In solidarity,
Manny Hidalgo, Executive Director
On behalf of the Planning Committee,
I would like to thank you for participating in the 2023 Nadim Khan Memorial Homeless Resource Day on Thursday, October 19, 2023 .The success of the day was largely due to your contribution and hard work. I am happy to report that there were 70 service providers that served over 350 individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in our community. Our guests received flu shots, health and benefit eligibility screenings, many submitted employment applications and applied to receive a MVA non-driver’s identification card. Our guests were pleased. Some who received free coats were brought to tears. Other enjoyed the personal care services and received haircuts and manicures.
